Also Wonderfalls was aired before Dead Like Me, so if anything it's DLM that's a copy.

Yep that's true the US got DLM first. If I recall correctly, I think the creator left DLM to pursue Wonderfalls actually. He didn't like what the network DLM was on was wanting him to do writing/plots wise.

I watched the second episode of of Wonderfalls. Jaye is like a bad-luck charm, isn't she? Running over her dad!
She'd better be paying attention to those talking animal toys, they seem to be trying to keep her out of trouble.  Her sister is hilarious! And the 6.5 year reunion!  I find the girl playing Jaye much less convincing in the angst department than Ellen Muth of DLM. I'm watching, but she isn't working for me.  __________________

Bryan's shows do get cancelled early sadly.
 A friend of mine joked he finally beat the curse by not using his own original material. Yeah I liked the 6.5 year reunion and Gretchen  I love the line her mom says about her running her dad over, saying how it was not premeditated something since Jaye was never a planner. Jaye isn't as angsty as George, I'll agree there. I don't think she's supposed to be though or at least that's how I saw her. Other fans can chime in if they want on this. __________________

I have said this elsewhere but Gretchen is in a early season 1 episode of Hannibal. She's only in it for a minute though.

Jaye is definitely snarky, especially with her siblings haha.
And yep Gretchen's in season 1 of Hannibal, as is a guy who played a priest on Wonderfalls. They actually interact. __________________
