I like Boomer, her and Helo are the only characters on the show that I liked in the first episode and still liked by the end of the season

So did you pick up liking someone?

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

Well, I ended up liking Six and Gaius and I ended up hating Starbuck and Apollo who I loved at the beginning.

So, the entire cast, you only like 3 people?

I'm starting to like Tigh more...but he's not a girl, so lets not talk about him.

I don't get hating Starbuck, she's the best character on the show. I've no problem with hating Apollo -see the Least Favorite Characters thread for my dislike of him. Gaius is creepy and annoying, but he can also be interesting and Callis definitely puts something into him. Can't STAND his accent, though. Six is downright unpleasant but Helfer does a good job with her.

I've always liked Tigh. He can be a right bastard, but Hogan plays him very well and gives him a humanity which Olmos's Adama lacks. He's the character I like best on the show after Starbuck and Boomer.

No, the only people I don't like are Starbuck and Apollo and occasionally The Prez.

A lot better off, cause he might have had somebody good with him instead of Suckly -whoops, Scully.

Duchovny was great casting, made the show. I think Gillian Anderson was bad casting. I found Scully as portrayed by her too brittle and stiff, not just external stiff (which is what the character was meant to be) but overall stiff right through. Insufficiently sympathetic and too much brittle (and ultimately fragile) stiffness for convincing strength. Annabeth Gish's Monica Reyes was convincingly strong, Scully was not. Reyes was also a lot more human than Scully, too. Pity Gish wasn't cast as Scully. It'd have been a much better show if she had been.

For me, Scully was ultimately unconvincing, disappointing and a pain to watch.

I can't disagree more about Scully. I thought Gillian Anderson was fantastic as Scully, and I think Scully is by far one of the best female characters out there. There was nothing stiff about her performance. I think both Duchovny and Anderson made the show.

I have nothing bad to say about Reyes though. I thought she was a good character, despite my feelings that X-Files should've ended after season seven.

I agree, Scully rocks.

Reyes was okay but the show wouldn't have been the same without Gillian and David.

To me, Anderson's performance was very little of anything apart from stiffness. Ultimately I found the performance uncomfortable and claustrophobic. To me, Scullys by no means one of the better female characters out there, though I think with a better actress in the part she might have been.

And I think the last 2 seasons of X-Files had more to them than they're generally given credit for, despite the absence of Mulder. Though the finale was highly disappointing.

Certainly it wouldn't have been the same, it would have been BETTER if it had been ANNABETH and David instead.

Yeah, but Gillian Anderson has red hair...and that's more than enough for me.

Actually, she doesn't, that's hair dye. She's really a blonde.

But Scully had red hair

I have a q, if you could erase one character from a show/movie/book, who would it be?
