I wonder why they got rid of her. It's annoying when they get rid of characters so early in the series, especially good ones.

Yeah I agree. Just as you starting to get to know the character and think: Hey, this one wasn't so bad. They whack the person. *grumble*

Doyle was a great character, I loved season one of Angel, shame about the rest of it

I pretty much agree. Doyle was great, season 1 was good, the later seasons got crappier and crappier as the show went along. Seasons 4 and 5 don't even bear thinking of.

I disagree....Illyria made season 5 deffinitely worth watching.

Far as I'm concerned, Illyria was one of the worst things in a rotten season.

I liked Illyria, I thought that season five was definitely an improvement on season four but I still didn't like it very much
