Who Wants to be a Superhero Appreciation #1

SciFi's new show premieres next week.

This looks really entertaining. A bunch of people running around trying to act like superheroes. I'm there. Plus Stan Lee is behind the whole process and whoever is the best superhero gets a spot in one of his comics. What an awesome prize.

I agree, I'll watch it once, but I'm not big on reality shows, even if it is Stan Lee.

I doubt I will watch this program, but I thought you guys might enjoy a positive mini-review from TV Guide's Matt Roush:
Quote:
Who Wants to Be a Superhero?
Thursdays, 9 pm/ET, Sci Fi Channel
Reason to stay in: To tap into your inner comic-book nerd, as contestants compete in the costumes of their own superhero creations in hopes of being immortalized by the legendary Stan Lee.
Worth watching? Surprisingly, yes. It’s the most charming reality lark since Beauty and the Geek. Challenges test strength of character over brute strength. (My fave: earnest, goofy Major Victory.)

I desperately hate reality shows but I think I might watch one episode for the heck of it.

Roush really liked the show. Excellent, that makes me want to see it even more. I saw another review on comicbookresources.com:

Can you believe that these contestants were signing autographs at Comic Con?

That is kind of wierd, but they are certainly getting famous fast. Whoever wins is certainly going to be famous fast though, getting their own place in a Stan Lee comic. That's a killer prize

I am watching this right now. The missions they have right now seem cool.

Liked it

I wasn't expecting much and was surprised that I really enjoyed it. Stan Lee kept the spirit of what a super hero means in his challenges.

Current favorites are : Lemuria, Cell Phone Girl and Major Victory.

Worst contestant left is the Iron Enforcer. I just think he wants to act tough rather than be a hero. He failed with his kill, kill, kill attitude and failed on the challenge. He should have been the first one voted off.

I love Major Victory too. He's so funny and I love that he never breaks character during any of the challenges.

I like Major Victory and Lemuria too. I am not to big on Iron Enforcer, so I hope he goes next week.

Iron enforcer is pretty cool. I like the concept of the anti-hero that he's doing. Kind of like the punisher. I think that's a great angle to play personally.

Major Victory is the most entertaining b/c he's so goofy. "Would you like me to carry you? "

I cannot stop looking at Iron Enforcer's mini boob. Maybe he needs an implant to make them even
