| Elite Fan   | I finished Wings of Wrath a few weeks ago, pretty good book. I really like CS Friedman's writing style. I'm starting Stone of Tears today. | I can't believe it but I'm not actually reading an SF or fantasy book right now, although I just gave up on Eragon. I've been reading a lot of YA fantasy this summer. Next up is probably The Roar by Emma Clayton, which I think is YA science fiction. | |||

| From what I can tell the Orson Scott Card book is a how to guide on writing sci-fi. | Actually, I got it at an "Ollie's" discount & remainder store. They really do have "Good Stuff, Cheap", and a lot of books & food. We deliver to a bunch of their stores, and I always like those loads because while they're unloading my tractor-trailer, I can go shopping a while. (They are often in small shopping centers, so there's a sporting chance of getting some Chinese food for lunch as well.) | I'm reading Hidden in Sight by Julie E. Czerneda, third in her Web Shifters series (which, apparently, will have a fourth book in a few years). It's been a long time since I read books one and two, so I'm a bit confused now. Next up is Doubleblind by Ann Aguirre. I expected not to like her Sirantha Jax series, but instead it has turned out to be one of my favorite new SF series over the past few years. | |||

| Web Shifters is Julie E. Czerneda's series about an alien shape-shifter named Esen-alit-Quar and the human she meets and befriends. All of Czerneda's books have excellent alien characters and are quite humorous. | |||
