Sorry to dp - am I the only one watching this?
I thought the show was as strange as it could get, but it took a turn for the weirder still tonight. I'd be rejoicing that the crazy Sheriff is dead, except I have a creepy feeling he'll somehow return. The Wall opened up and scooped him out.  I don't think he's human. Alien? Android?  __________________

I hate to keep double-posting, but y'all don't know what you're missing! This town is the ultimate mystery and there's "something" in the woods on the other side of the wall that surrounds it.
I think I got a glimpse of one.. might be aliens? Rejects? Really creepy. Definitely, the school-kids are being mass-hypnotized. I suspect the adults might only be there to make the place look "normal." It's for certain that some part of the Government is in on it. The acting and directing have been top-notch.  __________________

Last night's episode (#5) was insane! An "explanation" was given (amazing in itself, with 5 episodes still to go), but the explanation raised a whole new set of questions!

Why kidnap humans so early in 2014 (given they were still making coins in 2095). At what point did they know the catastrophe was going to happen. The timeline just doesn't make sense.

I know .. and actually they started in the 90's iirc. Supposedly, Dr. Jenkins (or his other name?) foresaw that the abbys would take over, but 100 years in advance? And not wake up Wayward Pines for another 2000 years?
I think I'll read the book after the series ends. It will probably explain more. __________________

Pam,
The doctor isn't going back and forth. Everything we saw in the outside world happened in the past, everything in the WP, happened in the future. It is a bit confusing. That episode blew my mind |
