Has anyone seen Perfect Creature? It's set in an alternate universe in which vampires are the creation of a geneticist. They are also born, not made by being bitten, have no problem with light, are always male, and are the foundation of religion - The Brotherhood are the protectors of the humans - and get blood from people who donate at the churches. Anyway, one goes rogue and starts killing people and his brother, who is also a vampire, is in charge of catching him. When he fails, he works with a police task force led by a woman. There's a little more to it but that's the gist. I liked it.

Dougray Scott....meh. So there's a new Steven Segal Movie out...it's him vs Vampires. The Tag Line: "He lives by the sword. They will die by it. "

It's called against the Dark. I figured I'd lower my standards and watch it.

I think I'll wait for Against the Dark to air on a movie channel I get and then I can watch it without anyone being the wiser.

As for other crappy stuff with vampires, I watched another Friday the 13th: the Series episode that featured vampires. This time there was a cursed cloak.

Anyway, a widow was advertising a room to rent, this guy showed up and saw the cloak and tried it on, the widow then told him about the cloak and turned him into a vampire, at this point our "heroes" showed up and the widow was killed but the guy used the magic pin on the cloak to go back to the 19th century and he takes 2 of the heroes with him. All of the 19th century scenes were filmed in B&W.

Dukesmom, I love episodes like that, where the "artistic" side of things are done to enforce the time difference. Was it a good episode?

IMO, none of the Friday the 13th: The Series episodes I have seen have been good.

Perfect Creature sounds interesting, will have to keep a look out for it.

Saw Underworld - Rise of the Lycans on thursday... it was good, liked it better than the second Underworld.
