Most of the Cirque du Soleil shows start at $100. Blue Man Group used to be around the $50 mark but not anymore. I can't remember how much the EFX tickets cost when I saw the version with Rick Springfield several years ago. Granted, I've never checked the prices on topless shows so that price could be expensive by their standards.

Yeah, but I don't think we'd be taking my girls to those shows. If we did, I'm not sure they would quite get it. Blue Man group is one that I always wanted to see.....but the threat of Celine drove me away.

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

Me too. They had one in Toronto for a while, but I think it's closed now and we never got around to it.

Does over 18 necessarily mean topless or could it be rated for graphic content?

Woo...that's a mighty fine cast.....I might be interested.

I was unaware that there was a Vampire show in Las Vegas. I'll have to investigate.

Let's try this again since my previous attempt was eaten by whatever happens to the board every midnight my time (ditto with 2:00 a.m.).

Out of curiosity I checked the True Blood page at imdb.com to see if there was any new information. The only thing I saw new to me was that Todd Lowe, Zach on Gilmore Girls, was listed as playing the character Terry Bellefleur. Interesting... I was going to say he might have an edge with the accent since he grew up in Humble, Texas but it's not as close to the Louisiana border as I thought it was (it's almost 300 miles).

Hrm, Zach, that was Lane's husband, correct? I'll assume that he's supposed to be Louisiana aristocracy?

Yes, Zach was Lane's husband. IIRC, I've only read 2 (maybe 3) of the books, the Bellefleurs are a prominent family in the Louisiana town in which most of the action takes place.

Is this a contemporary type novel or a period type?

Hello

Don't let my name fool you I'm and totally besotted with Vampires. My favorite series is the Anita Blake vampire novels. Jean-Claude, Asher, and Reqeium are my favorite Vampires of all time and they are dead sexy with emphasis on the sexy part.

I finished The Laughing Corpse by Laurell K. Hamilton the other day. Not really much vampire action. I got a lot of weird looks from co-workers when I was eating lunch in the kitchen and reading just because of the title. I wonder what they'll think of the next few titles: Circus of the Damned, The Lunatic Cafe, Bloody Bones, The Killing Dance, etc.?
