Yeah it was cool to finally see Audrey. I wasn't expecting to see her until the last few episodes, honestly, like after Cooper came back.

It was strange how Truman and Ben didn't even mention to inform Audrey about Richard, seeing as it was implied she was still in Twin Peaks? (She mentioned the Roadhouse). Some on reddit seem to think she's still in a coma of some sort and that whole conversation is a dream and that's why she was isolated from everyone else. Guess we'll see.

Even more ridiculous was Charlie talking on a Rotary Phone.

WWE Twin Peaks Parody - Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide.com

Question: Have you completely thrown in the towel on Twin Peaks? —Charlie
Ausiello: I’m about three episodes behind and in absolutely no rush to catch up, which saddens/frustrates me. Another thing that saddens/frustrates me is that a bunch of really smart and talented people seem to be digging it, which makes me feel like I’m living in an episode of Twin Peaks myself. One of those really smart and talented people is Damon Lindelof, whose reverence for the Showtime revival compelled him to travel to San Diego two weeks ago to moderate the Twin Peaks panel at Comic-Con. “What the hell am I missing?!” was essentially the question I posed to him when he dropped by our interview suite. Our pro/con Peaks exchange is below:

Damon's got a point. Expectations will kill enjoyment every time. You just got to go with it. Saying that though, I'm not sure anyone can talk him into liking it because it's just as much (if not more so) a visceral reaction as it is an intellectual one.

Overall I would say the new show has a more complex intricate narrative/mystery than the original, but it was easier to feel attached to characters in the original one.

i agree i was more attached to the characters in the original show. this one they introduce too many storylines without you getting attached to any of the characters. they move on to quickly and leave the confused and the storylines hanging hoping at some point they will come back to it

Richard being Chuck is what I first thought when I saw the episode, but then Charlie said Chuck returned the truck and Billy dropped charges, which we know didn't happen. Something more is going on here. There's another theory that Chuck = Mr C. and Billy = Dale and the stealing of the truck is a metaphor for Mr. C stealing Dale's identity, but who knows. It could just mean Richard after all. Then again in Eraserhead (Lynch movie) the father and the sun morph into one in the same, the deformed baby head takes over the body of the father.

Also, apparently Sabrina Sutherland (TP Producer) confirmed at one of the Twin Peaks events that the 'Billy' that Audrey mentioned is the same Billy the random guy came in asking for running to the double R at the end of episode 7 while the song 'Sleep Walk' played in the background.
