The original Wizard of Oz was on last night.

I was wondering, do you know when they started shooting Tin Man? Was it a long time before it aired?

Generally a 4 hour mini-series takes about 6 weeks to shoot, and probably 2-4 months of post production,

That being the case, I know scifi is shooting a BSG movie in August for release around Thanksgiving or so. I would guess that if we don't hear anything by Sept, there probably won't be a sequel this year.

I love Tin Man. I've been a fan of the Wizard of Oz since I was a little girl and when I heard about them making a remake of it I just had to see it. I'm going to buy the DVD next week.

Oh, thanks for the info. I really had no idea. When you said the thing about the possible sequel this year I wondered if it could be done, now I see it can. I hope news come in September :} isn't the Emmy awards in Sept?

I read somewhere that TM was shot entirely in green screen (don't know if it's true) but if it is WOW!

I thought the Emmy's were this month, maybe I'm wrong. Either way, I didn't see it on the list of SciFi movies for the year, so we might have to wait until next year.

but is that list already definite? Can't they add any other movie? And do they only make these movies to air by the end of the year or can we maybe get something to the early 2009?

They can deffinitely add, especially if something looks like it won't be producable or it'll fall behind.

) in the OZ and all

I don't know just makes me happy.

When I stop to think about it, I don't know, it's weird to think of Azkadellia fighting along with the others. I think they're gonna introduce some new villain and all cause if they make another one of them posessed or something like that it'll be kind of repetitive.

I think a big question would be, did Az keep her powers after the witch was exorcised. You also have the immediate threat of Az's supporters and Army, not all of which would be happy about disbanding right away.
