But I would call those non-Oz fans, then. The original books had Oz as one of the most dangerous parts of the realms, and for good reasons. There was always a threat there.

Plus, we all know that a Sequel will eventually spring up anyway.

True. It would be better if they started introducing another kind of threat during their journey cause really, I agree, Az was pretty much the only problem they had and it wasn't even her. Yep. They should have shown some real stuff. The ending gave the feeling everything would be beautiful and colorful :S that shouldn't happen.

I also wondered where all the seedier elements of Oz were. yes we saw a few, but originally, the Witch had allied herself with other races that abounded in Oz, where'd they go?

Yeah; they "forgot" to show a lot. I don't know if it was the way it was made (only 3 episodes) but, really, a lot was missing. It would be really odd to make a sequel cause no other threat was shown. I wonder if they decide to go with part 2 how they're gonna make it cause it might sound forced.

Yeah, exactly. Her ''melting'' was something really strange. Maybe the way DG said ''she melted!?'' was a clue. I don't know but it makes sense for her not to be gone for good cause they didn't really do anything to hurt her, all they did was turn the machine off, not to mention the idea of ''killing'' a spirit is awkward.

Well, she melted the last time, and that just locked her into a cave. Maybe she's back in the cave, or in some different cave.

Yeah I the witch melted in the movie as well. But the movie never got back to it.

Probably! Waiting for her next victim. She waited so long for the first time. I wonder if the people in the OZ will be the same when se strikes back.(in the serie I mean - possible serie to be more precise)

It might get a technical one, but I doubt it'll get the best mini-series one. Just like BSG won't get t's non-tech emmy, but I'll root for them both. At least they're all Emmy Nominated now.

It probably won't. But like you said, if it gets a technical one it's great all the same. And at least it was nominated hehe that oughta count for something.
I think it has a chance on getting maybe the sound one. But I don't know cause I haven't seen the ones that are running along with it.

Most importantly, this will probably guarentee a sequel to the miniseries. At least, I hope so.

That would be awesome. Another reason to root for it to win. Hehehe, yeah once they get the feedback I think that it will at least be considered a possibility.

I'm not sure it even needs to win. It's like actors/actresses, once they become "emmy/oscar nominated" well, that's a whole new ballpark for salary and such. People want them just because they can mention it's nominated. Shows are they same, now SciFi can say it's the Sequel to the Emmy nominated series.
