Terry Pratchett's Discworld Discussion #1

The Hogfather was the most recent adaption of one of Terry Pratchett's Discworld works. It was bloody good! It was the first time I have seen one of his adaptions using actors. The last miniseries I saw was animated (still bloody good though.) It was called Soul Music. There was also another one called Wyrd Sisters.

It would take me hours to explain the basic premise behind The Discworld universe so I won't burden you with that drivel and just say this, your life will not be the same once you have watched any of these adaptions. Their stories are all intertwined too btw so the history of one story has parts that you will not understand unless you had seen the other one and that one has bits you won't understand unless you'd seen yet another one - best to watch all of them! Well worth it.

My favourite character has to be Death. I mean, he's so funny and nice.

Cryo or Rachel, could one of you please rename the title of this tread for me to 'Terry Pratchett's Discworld adaptions' ?

Consider it done.

Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.
