Hey all, I didn't know there was a thread about this new show. I love it so much. My Dad and I watch it. Thomas Dekker plays John Connor so great. he is my fav in the show. I also like the Girl protecting him. Can't wait for Monday. good to hear it's doing good in the ratings.

Oh cool, there's a thread for this show

I just watched the premiere and I really enjoyed it... definitely interested in how the season's going to go

. I loved T1 and T2 even more but T3 was a big disappointment so I like that that they're kinda ignoring T3 and continuing on from T2 instead

. The timeline on this show is definitely going to be interesting.

Even if it may be because of the strike, I hope the ratings stay steady cause I would love to see how the season goes

I've seen complaints elsewhere about the terminator from 1999 time traveling with Sarah, John & Cameron since only living matter or items covered in living matter can make the trip. I was wondering about that also and then someone pointed out an alternative - the terminator did not time travel. Instead, his remains were buried in the destruction of the bank and resurfaced in 2007 after the trio time traveled. Sounds good to me.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes! I'm not a huge Terminator fan (I've seen all the movies, I think as a huge Sci-Fi fan it's a sin to have not seen them) but I'm such a fan of the three leads that I had to check it out. I loved Lena in "Imagine Me & You" and "The Cave," but she was beyond amazing in 300. She plays the badass mom roles very well! I loved Thomas in Heroes. I'm a big Joss fan so Firefly was and still is one of my favorite shows so getting to see Summer in another Sci-Fi role is cool. Cameron reminds me of River in some ways, and in some ways she different.

I can't wait to see the next episode tonight.

That's how I assumed they were doing it, since it does rise from the remains of the bank. Guess we're just to assume that maybe it somehow knew that they were going to 2007 and just chilled in the remains till then...just a guess...

From what little I've seen of episode 2, I'd say it was the wreckage coming through in various piles, especially since the body was in a junkyard.

Tonight's episode shows them getting their first lead on the new skynet. Can't wait.

I thought I saw his head come through the time travel portal at the end of the Pilot...but maybe I was seeing things.

Maybe the time portal (or whatever) somehow turned it back on. Or maybe the gun Sarah used on the terminator somehow helped it pass through time with them. Anyway, it's all speculation until TPTB give us a specific answer.

no you know in the beginning of ep two they replay them naked and then they show the metal skull? the junkyard guy found the head and i guess his body resembled and found its head

I didn't get to catch much of tonight's eppy due to the fight between me and the potential a.i. that I am currently typing information into. But, from what I saw, it was a good eppy.

As for the actors in the show, the only one that I have seen before is Summer Glau from The 4400. To me, the other actors are newbies.

The head didn't pop out of the time-electric-ball-thingy in the pilot episode I saw way back on July the 24th 2007 when I first watched the first episode of this show.

I did notice something funny and subliminal in the 2nd episode though, at about 17 minutes into the episode, on the glass door that John Connor is about to open after performing that internet search in a public place and having just been pwn3d by a computer expert we see the Elite (1337) word backwards on the glass door before he opens it. 1337 = Elite, ie: someone who knows more than you do about computers - - and then some.

Plus, the actor that acted as a love interest for Sarah Connor was a different actor.
