I'm finally watching this show on DVD, and I'm impressed with how good it really is! It makes me sadder that I didn't watch it while it was actually airing. My one internet view might not have made any difference about the cancellation, but it's still a great show. It seem so cinematic on the whole and reminded me a lot of the movie Sunshine, which I own.

I loved the end of season 2! (Even as open ended as it was...)

I thought it was a real shame this was cancelled just as it was starting to get good. I have heard there's a comic book out to tie up the cliff-hanger ending.

I'd like to read that. Given up hope of them doing a movie to tie it up.

You can find all this stuff on Amazon now and you can purchase comic book #2 as well. I think I will get the complete 2 season blue ray of Universe. I also agree it started slow but started to get footing. I feel if they would have had a third season, the show would have started to collect it's following. I also liked Atlantis too, and was sad that it also went away too.

I only ever watched the Stargate shows on DVD well after the US broadcast, as it wasn't available to me on TV here. The second half of season 2 which was not shown in the US was actually very good I thought. I also loved Stargate Atlantis and I really miss it.

I remember seeing everything on TV as it came out. Over the years I have thought about buying both the Atlantis and Universe show complete just to have.
