Whoa. Whoawhoawhoawhoa. WHOA. Hold on a second. What happened? I always figured that after season eight it was very subtley implied but not actually confirmed.

It hasn't been "actually" confirmed onscreen, just buy AT and Martin Wood and some of the other PTB...but not onscreen. Yet.

Janet is very awesome! I've seen videos of cons with her and AT and they always look like they are having so much fun. I think its great how much the cast seems to get along and like each other.

I saw a video once where AT was at a convention and she said one of the things she missed the most was Teryl's laugh.

I'm glad Sam got Vala to hang out with (I loved the shopping and pedicure trip they made in "Family Ties" Cam's face was priceless too.)

I like Janet as a medical doctor. She was very strong and nobody got away with anything in the infirmary. In there she was in charge and not even General Hammond was above her. But as a friend to Sam I find her annoying. I know her heart was in the right place but she always was getting into other people's business. I bet there were plenty of time where Sam wanted Janet to back off and stop being so nosy. At least in my mind.

Please don’t kill me I just want to vent out a little.

One of the things that frustrated me the most is Sam’s inability to speak out. I always wanted Sam to be outspoken and even if she ended up following orders, at least she wouldn't act as a mindless soldier who always follows orders and is a afraid to speak out. I mean she’s extremely intelligent and can kick your ass like there’s no tomorrow but sometime I felt like they undermine her and I hated and still hate that she did nothing to fight for what she deserve or at least deserve to be heard. Especially when they made Cam the new CO of SG1, that pissed me off. I got nothing against Cam, I think he's a good officer but Sam had way more experience on the field and scientifically. I hated the fact that Sam didn’t oppose or anything, also this made me resent General Landry and kind of ruined for me. To me Landry wasn’t up to par in the command position. He lacked something, I don’t know what it is but General Hammond, and General O’Neill had it. In my opinion Sam should have being given full command of SG1 and she should have picked Teal’c as her 2IC and Cam as third. Daniel obviously has no desire to hold any command ever, he’s happy being who he is.

I’m very tire so I’m going to stop for now.

I have a lot of thoughts on that, but I'm late for work. Basically, I did not like or agree with how things were ran in Season 8 and 9. There is no one Cam, someone who no offworld experience, should have been CO of the flagship team. I know he was given that position as a favor for helping SG1, but at the most he should have been the 21C. Sam deserved it, and it was a slap in the face to her, especially after already having led SG1 during Season 8.

I also wish Sam could have spoken up more, but realistically I don't think she could have. There are rules and regulations, and I think Jack did a pretty good job at listening to her opinion. Cam, on the other hand, was a moron, and just went headfirst into situations without listening to anyone.

I haven't encountered Cam yet, but from what I've read I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to like him very much.

I didn't have a problem with Mitchell being the CO of SG-1 because when he got command of that group, Sam wasn't part of it. And even when she was working with them in the beginning she still had plans of going back to Area 51. I don't know if it would have been exactly right to then just hand over SG-1 to Sam. Also I didn't mind it because it never felt like Sam would look to Mitchell for orders or anything. SG-1 post season eight seemed more of a collaborative group then a hierarachy group. Also, for me Sam wasn't the type to want command of a group. She didn't care about the power, as long as the person in charge was competent. If she was given command she would have accepted it but I don't think she would seek it out.

I also didn't not like Mitchell. It annoyed me a bit that his character felt so similar to Crichton from Farscape. I get that it's a type of character and everything but I kind of felt like it was Crichton had he joined the Air Force. I loved the character of Crichton but I was hoping that they'd give Ben Browder something a little different. I liked him enough though.

Also, I believe that now Sam outranks Cam as of Continnum. So I guess SG-1 was just Mitchell, Daniel, Teal'c, and Vala while Sam was in Atlantis. If there is another movie I wonder if Sam will continue as part of SG-1 or come back to the SGC or whatever when they need her help. I don't see how they could put Sam under Cam's command if she outranks him. Or am I just thinking about this WAY too much?

I'm now into Season Five. I loved the Season Four finale, thought blowing up the entire system where the To'Kra once lived was pretty major and kudos to Sam for coming up with the idea to use the gate and that planet with the black hole, good continuity as well!

Season Five started well also, although I thought I was in for Stargate Voyager there for a few minutes when they were lost in space.

Yea, Sam is a full bird Colonel from what we've heard in Atlantis. I really do want to know what Sam will be doing in the next movie, unless they just magically promote Cam also and put him in charge of SG1 with Sam as his 21C. I'm not sure, but all I know is that I really really really want another movie.

Yea, I'm not particularly excited about Stargate Universe. Give me back Atlantis, please.

Well I've not seen Atlantis yet, but I'm actually looking forward to SGU, it will be nice to be in on a series from the beginning.

Moving right along in SG-1, I just finished up 5x04 "The Fifth Man".

How fab would it be if we got one movie a year?
