It's getting somewhat hard for them now...perhaps not hard, but expensive. Most of the sets have been struck already, so they'll have to rebuild those that aren't being re-used by Atlantis.

Darn. With AT leaving Atlantis, my chances of Sam/Jack confirmation are diminishing --I know--not everyone ships them. I do though. I've always appreciated that STNG gave us closure to the Riker/Troi storyline. Too bad the Crusher/Picard thing was so thoroughly ignored in the movies.

I've always been a sci-fi shipper ever since I saw Han kiss Leia or Buck Rogers rescue Wilma (or vice versa)

I want some Sam/Jack resolution.

I just watched 'Window of Opportunity' that is one of the best episodes of any tv show ever!

Aw yeah I love it!

I haven't watched it for a while though because I missed some episode after season 6 (I think) and I haven't managed to get caught up again yet.

Plus, my Dad, my Bro and I like to watch them all together and it's hard to find a time when we all have a spare minute to watch it.

I also really love Jack/Sam!

I don't ship couples very often anymore, but I just can't help it with them.

Yay another shipper!! Season 8 was really good for them, I would highly recommend watching it. It's one of my favorite seasons.

There are so many looks between then in pretty much all episodes... sometimes it's hotter than actually seeing them get together

I watched Redemption Parts 1 & 2 on the train to hand in my last ever University assignment (yay!

) My favorite quotes are:

Carter: You have a habit of seeing things... in their simplest form.

Dr. McKay: But, why wait? Why does this guy show up a day and a half after this all starts to do his whole "prepare to meet your doom" thing?

Yea, I've learned to love McKay. Do you watch Atlantis?? I love them both, although I love SG1 just a little bit more. There were some spoilers for this last season of atlantis about jack and sam a few pages back. I have all 10 seasons on DVD and The Ark of Truth and I've preordered Continuum. My friends think I have a small obsession.

I've seen part of the first season and enjoyed it (loving Gordon the Wraith in the dvd extras

) but I need to watch them again too.

I'm currently downloading the episodes, but I'm going to buy them on dvd too! Oh and I recorded 'The Ark of Truth' on my tv the other day, so I have that to look forward to. Should I be watching that after season 10?

Is that where it fits in time order?

The fandom sure sucks you in pretty quickly. If you go to my ff page vball2003 - FanFiction.Net and look underneath my favorites there are a ton of Sam/Jack fics in there.

HELL YES! I convinced my Dad & Brother to buy the complete Stargate SG-1 Seasons 1-10 box set between us!

It works out at just over £40 each. WOOT!!!

I bought the box set a few months ago. It was a slight impulse buy which resulted in me not being able to buy anything for a while. Totally worth it. Went on a slightly complete marathon. (I generally gloss over or skip Teal'c centric episodes, they never really interested me.) It took a while. But I did it.

Also listening to the commentaries just makes the process even longer.

I love Sam/Jack and honestly I think the best season for these two is season four. Divide and Conquer, Windows of Opportunity, Beneath the Surface.

My friend and I, the only one as/more in love with SG-1 than me, are going on vacation later this summer and we were so hoping that Continuum was coming out before or during then so that we could watch it together. Alas, that's not to be. But we'll still geek out over it just like we did with Ark of Truth.

I really hope this does well. I heard Ark of Truth did fairly well and if Continuum follows then hopefully there will be more SG-1 movies (with Jack please).

I never really got into Atlantis like I did with SG-1 so the Stargate universe kind of stops with SG-1 for me. I'll watch an episode every now and then but I just don't love the characters like I did with SG-1. I don't even like a few on there and I loved everyone on SG-1. Even Jonas and Mitchell. (Still would rather have Jack).
