And bring on the discussion...

Haven't seen last week's episode yet. Will try to catch up tonight if possible.

*******
2 days later and still haven't seen last week's episode. And now I have another one to watch:
Quote:
The Shroud
Daniel resurfaces as a prior and requests for help from SG-1 on a plan that may be a trap; O’Neill and the team plan to save Daniel’s life and halt the war with the Ori.

This....is a great episode. Lots of Adria in it.

As I mentioned in the Atlantis thread, I managed to get caught up.

Last week's episode - not one of my favorites. Too little of Teal'c and Vala, and pretty much everyone but Sam. It was nice seeing Hammond again and Lorne (though his haircut looks a little off).

This week - undecided. Mostly liked it but there's something telling me it wasn't quite right. The scenes with Jack and Daniel were, as expected, wonderful and it was nice seeing everyone contributing (yes, that's a dig at last week's episode). Loved Jack's line about not always believing what he hears even when he understands what's being said.

You know, its episodes like this one that show me how much I miss Jack being on regularly.

I was disapointed with this episode. This was the only episode that i knew anything about before i saw it and only the basic description.."Daniel gets turned into a Prior"

Don't know what i was expecting..i don't know, maybe sg1 actually trying to save him and turn him back, Daniel being a for real Prior. Not what we got.

I am up to DVD 4 of season 3 and IT DOESN'T PLAY!! Grrrrrrrrr I tried every DVD player I have (3 normal DVD players, a PS2 and both of my DVD burners) None of them would play this DVD. I tried as a last resort to copy it onto my PC as a backup (sometimes a dodgy DVD can be backed-up and that copy will play) this DVD would not copy past approximately 50% and even that amount took over 15 hours to copy (a normal full DVD would take 2-3 hours at the maximum amount of time to back it up.) So now I have to take it back to the DVD store for a possible replacement due to the dodgy disc. Bad thing is this - these are the older versions which are 5 DVD cases inside a box for a full season. These are a deleted format. Now they have been re-released with all of a season crammed into one DVD case instead of 5 or 6 DVD cases. So if they'd replace it for me, it'd be the one-DVD-case version which means my entire Stargate SG1 series will be a ruined collection because they will not all match...Kender understands what I mean, I am sure.

That sucks about the dvd Hope you can actually get a replacement that matched.

Makes me worried about some of my dvds that i have had for ages and haven't gotten around to watching yet

Makes you want to sit in front of the DVD player and test every one of them, doesn't it?

Tonight's episode:

In his alma mater's yearbook, do you think Mitchell was voted “Most Likely to Be Killed by an Intergalactic Bounty Hunter”? It's high-school reunion time and Mitchell makes the risky decision to bring Vala along, but she proves to be less troublesome than the party crasher who threatens the former Farscape lovers as well as the other alumni and guests. — Michael Chant

Though i didn't like the initial set up of this episode...i think with the Ori war they have more important things to do that blow up cargo. But i ended up enjoying this one. Loved all the going on's at Mitchells high school reunion and especially Vala's interactions with Cams parents.

I liked this episode...it's all about Vala in the jean shorts.

Finally got to see the episode last night and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Not one of my favorites but at least it only made me want to hit characters a couple of times.

eta: forgot to mention how weird it was to see Ann Marie DeLuise (aka Ann Marie Loder) on SG-1 as Mitchell's new girlfriend and then two hours later seeing her on Painkiller Jane as the wife of a probable Neuro.

2nd eta: please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed the flyer taped to the side of the pay phone Mitchell was using last week. The one that had the name Damian Kindler on it? I didn't see the whole thing so I don't know what the flyer was all about, probably a "Vote Damian Kindler for class President" or something like that.

Tonight's episode:
Quote:
Stargate: SG-1
Bad Guys
Friday, May. 18
SCI-FI 58
The team explore an alien museum on another planet and must convince the powers that be that they are not rebels.
