Hi again!

I managed to catch up with you guys in the whole episode department, and I just want to say how awesome the last episode was!

Spoiler:

Of course, I am still coming to terms with Michaels death... *sobs* But the fact that Teyla was the one who ended up killing him kind of made more sense to me then if somebody else had done it. He was too much of a threat to her child and as long as he was alive, she would always have to be on her guard - so if I was in her shoes, I would have done the same thing.

Oh Michael, why did you have to turn evil?

I have to admit though, I felt so sorry for him when he called out Teylas name after she had kicked his hand away from the ledge. Even John looked shocked. I still think that maybe, somehow, the father of Teylas baby is really Michael - not Kanaan. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.

On a lighter note; I think Ronan has a new love interest. Emelia Banks, is that her name? He seemed pretty impressed with her kickboxing moves.

What was everyone elses impression of the episode?

Oh, I really *hope* not. Bad enough I have to suffer through McKeller (okay... well... that pretty much *is* the worst thing the PTB can do, but still), to also have Ronon bounce back immediately from being rejected (and destroy my ship even further) and suddenly lust after a girl just because she can kickbox? This is the guy who in season 3, almost 9 years since Melena had died, said he wasn't ready yet to look for someone new. It's going to take him longer than the little time we have left. If all it takes is that a girl knows some fighting moves then why did he *never* make a move on Teyla?

I see him respecting Amelia for her ability to take care of herself, just as he respects Teyla and Sheppard for doing the same. If the PTB insists on making more out of it than that, then there really will be no reason for me to start watching again (I stopped after 5x10)... but then again, I'm not sure I want to start watching again, anyway. I'm still waiting for some better news. Ronon suddenly hooking up with a girl just because she can fight is not something I want to see...

I liked The Prodigal. I thought it was a decent new take on a hostage situation and as a bonus, everyone had something to do.

Wait a minute, was Keller in this episode? I'm drawing a blank on whether or not she made an appearance.

Also, even though it's the 5th season and it's been a running joke since the first episode, I doubt I'll ever get tired of people arguing with McKay over naming new discoveries (stun bubble).

I guess the thing that surprised me the most was that the RTC cars were not somehow used to thwart Michael and his minions. It happens so often in other shows/movies that whatever/whoever is introduced in the first few minutes somehow ties into the ultimate solution/smackdown.
