| Should Superheroes have flaws or be perfect? Should superheroes be without flaws like they were in the 50s, 60s and 70s or be human with flaws as they are more recently on television and in the movies? Was not sure if I should post this question in the television thread or the Scifi one. | |||

| Not all superheroes were flawless in the 50s-70s. __________________ | |||

| I concur. As a fan of Batman over superman, for just this reason, I love flaws in characters. If they're too "perfect" then we can't relate to them. As a fan of Watchmen, I love it even more. People need to understand that superheroes don't always make the best choices, makes their deeds all the better by comparison. __________________ "Be quiet brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip!" | Yeah, but he's got that whole "boyscout" mentality, and tends to press the edge of "never-do-wrong" types. __________________ "Be quiet brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip!" | No, superheros need to be relatable and nobody's perfect in real life. __________________ I am a HUGE fan of both Phantom of the Opera and Lion King! Also a major fan of: Dr. Seuss, Grinch, Days of Our Lives, Musicals in general, and Disney in general. | |||

Not sure there's anything wrong with that - if superheroes were flawed then they wouldn't be 'super', after all. __________________ This is my confession, I need your heart In this depression, I need your heart | |||
