I agree Rita, but because of the loss of who he thought was his father, he wanted to stay true to him by upholding what he was taught, IMO, so the 'to love is to destroy' part of him would always knaw at him.

That's my take on it anyway.

He knows what he was supposed to learn, and maybe he even acts accordingly sometimes.
But he also knows that the whole thing was sick and that it's not a way of life.

^^^ That's very true, which just proves, he is normal, and has emotions but goes against them because of what he was taught he should be instead of what and who he really is.

I don't think they'll drag it out for the whole season, what I think they will do is Clary will find out from her mom that she and Jace are not brother and sister and it will take the whole frickin' season in order for her to be able to tell him that!

But the brother Jace is supposed to be right now is actually alive and out there and not a good guy.


Funny thing is, that Jocelyn actually believes her son to be dead, so of course she's gonna tell Clary that.

Which will only work, if he doesn't let Valentine brainwash him (further).

But it shouldn't take the whole season. Jocelyn's alive now and her and Clary need to talk. So there should be answers.
And I don't think Clary and Jace won't meet at least once until the end of season two, when she could tell him.
Who would want to watch that.

How do you like the headquearters better? The way Clare describes it in the books or the way they modernised and computerized it in the tv show?

I like the modernization level but I kind of want to see the 'crypt' room where Simon is able to enter be the classic look, gothic almost you know?
