These are just small things like in the twilight zone, when you suddenly realize that everyone else looks freaking, and you're the normal looking one.

The slice-and-dice scenes on Pitch Black must have been pretty shocking. Good thing I skipped the movie.
After reading some descriptions, I think a lot of those scenes were very shocking. __________________

Maybe not most shocking, but certainly unexpected by me: in the SG-1 episode "Origin" when Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black) was burned alive. I was sure SOMEONE or SOMETHING would stop the fire before she was killed. Yes, she was restored, but at the time the fire consumed her and seeing the corpse immediately after,

I freaked when they killed Max at the end of Season 1 Dark Angel and then brought her back with Zach's heart.
Then at the end of Chronicles of Riddick when they killed Kyra The end of Matrix when they killed(?) Neo. And a dozen others...I just have to think of them. __________________
