| Did you snatch 'The Drapery Falls'? Try and listen to that one track first if possible, it was the very first Opeth track I heard, that track will show you every facet of what the band is like more than any other track will imo. | Go for a Jolt.  you will need it for the Opeth tracks, the average Opeth track is about 12 minutes long...Other than 'The Drapery Falls' the next best tracks for someone to hear are: 'Reverie/Harlequin Forest' & 'Master's Apprentices'. __________________ My avi is Donkey Kong's face in Zelda TP, behind that tree with the chickens... | Elite Fan | I've picked up Harlequin already...Master's Apprentices isn't there yet. I'm going to take it in to work, I have a couple of friends that dig this style of music, a lot. | I loved Tura Satana better than Lacuna Coil, but the lead vocalist is still the same girl. Anything with 'Oz' in its title HAS to be good! | Tura Satana - Luna. If you like Lacuna Coil & Tura Satana then you will love Kittie. They are an all-girl metal/death metal band. The female vocalist is like a female version of Mikael from Opeth, she sings like an angel one minute then she growls death metal style the next!! Kittie - Until the end, Kittie - Pussy sugar, Kittie - In dreams. They rock! \m/That's great about your bro-in law! My favourite albums of theirs are: (In no particular order) Deliverance, Blackwater Park, Ghost Reveries, Still Life, My Arms, Your Hearse & Damnation. | Orchid is their oldest album. That is an actress whose name is Tura Satana, this was a band's name Tura Satana. I mixed-up Manhole with Lacuna Coil...Tarrie B (vocalist for Tura Satana) was not in Lacuna coil, she was in Manhole. :/ All of those bands are great regardless. __________________ My avi is Donkey Kong's face in Zelda TP, behind that tree with the chickens... | Manhole is Tura Satana. They changed their name because of legal issues (apparently some other band had the same name before they did so they had to change it.) That is just like Jack White and his new band 'The Raconteurs' there is a jazz band by that name here in Oz, so Jack changed their name to 'The Saboteurs'.
