After seeing the show in my Netflix recommendations, I decided to check it out and blew through the first 3 seasons (as well as the first two eps of S4, which I found through online sources) in less than a week, allowing me to watch both this week and last week's episodes 'live', and the show has matched Once Upon a Time and Sleepy Hollow as one of the best things I've seen on TV in a very long time. Every time you think you've got things figured out, the writers/PTBs shift things and go in an entirely different direction, and I'm literally tingling with anticipation wondering what's going to happen next.
Also, I did some searching and found places where the show was compared to Twin Peaks, but it reminds me much more of Dark Shadows, Fringe, Wolf Lake, John Doe, Reunion, Vanished, and Point Pleasant, as well as the King/Straub novels The Talisman and Black House. As for Season 4 thus far, I've really liked the twists the PTBs/writers have put in place, and I'm flush with anticipation wondering what's going to happen next. __________________

Emma Lahana is a great addition to the cast, and I really like the dynamic she has with Eric Balfour.

I LOVE the additions of Emma and Colin this season!
 Also, no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I say or type this, but as a poster mentioned above, Haven often gets compared to Twin Peaks. Another show with a feel reminiscent of Haven is called American Gothic. It was a supernatural horror TV series that lasted one year between 1995-1996. It was just brilliant and bits of it are reminiscent of Haven to me. Has anyone else seen or heard of American Gothic?  __________________
On July 19th, 2013, I attended San Diego Comic Con for the second time and went to the first ever Haven panel where I met Emily Rose and Eric Balfour afterwards. It was the BEST day of my life!

You would think I'd be able to spot when the writers are throwing us a curve ball, but they caught me totally off-guard AGAIN with that ending tonight, and now I have no clue where they're headed with this whole story.
