I liked it in some parts then other parts I preferred the Webisodes version. I miss David Hewlett and Peter Deluise in this version for a start...

I found it lame that they added a GF for Will and that his mother was killed by a creature. I much preferred the original story there, plus I preferred the original moment in the rain where Helen handed Will her card and the text popped up on it over time.

I noticed a few scenes which were unchanged, the scene with John back in the past with the prostitute and the scene underground with the train were from the webisodes.

I'm pretty sure they updated the CGI in the underground scene, it looked alot better in the aired version, all the graphics did.

One scene that I really loved was the rooftop scene between Helen and Will, the CGI was stunning and honestly looked very realistic to me.

I only saw 2 of the webisodes and there was one line I liked that wasn't in this version, or I missed it. When Helen is showing Will the creatures in the cages -- it went something like this: Will: "Well at least they're not roaming the halls". And Helen responds "Well of course not, ..... their exercise time was over 2 hours ago."

I miss these quotes that were in the webisodes:

Will: 'He flushed me out of my shower.'
Helen: 'Did he use your toilet? Oh that is so annoying, i'll be sure to have a word with him'

Helen: 'Will, there are creatures outside that door that make my butler look like a house cat by comparison. Sanctuary for All is not an empty motto. (Helen offers Will a scone while taking a sip of her tea) Scone?'

Will: (While observing the creepy monsters in Sanctuary) 'None of these things are running around free, right?
Helen: 'Don't be ridiculous. ...Exercise time isn't for another two hours.'

Yeah alot of the good one liners were missing, but overall I thought it was a solid premiere.

I only saw the first webisode, so I didn't really feel like I missed things. I loved it, but I have a feeling I would love anything Amanda is in. I can't wait to see what the next episode looks like!

Amanda really showcased her leading lady skills I think, there is no doubt she can carry this series in my mind.

Thanks, now I'll know the correct quote, instead of paraphrasing.

Love the droll tongue-in-cheek humor in the delivery of those lines. hope they keep that up in the series.

I'm constantly on a Stargate high....almost 15 seasons and 2 movies means that there is always something to watch that almost seems like new again!

At the beginning of the episode I thought her accent sound kind of Irish and a bit forced. But as the show progress it got better and more natural. I agree some of the lines were missing but I thought the CGI was much better. The webisode was good but the episode was fantastic and I think it was even better than the webisode.

We can easily see that the other plots of the webisodes will be shown as episodes later on in the season of Sanctuary. Such as Jack training the boy, those Scottish demon things in the graveyard, the 3 witch women from ancient times etc...
