| Quantum Leap Discussion #1 now that the first season is out on DVD i think its appropriate to discuss how ppl liked the series...i personally think bakula and stockwell go together like spagetti and meatballs...this was a truly well written show...so what do the rest of u think? __________________ We are the borg. | I don't have the first season on dvd yet. However, I have been watching the re-runs on Sci-Fi. I  the show always have. I used to be wearing an Al avatar. The chemisty with them was amazing. A classic Tv duo. While the sci-fi of Quantum Leap isn't that great. The show itself is not about doing things like that. It was about helping people and the emotion of events as well as Sam's. | Mmm, I loved Quantum Leap so much. I think it was my first real sci-fi addiction... and Al was the best! They don't really show repeats anymore, at least where I am  How many seasons were there?__________________ | |||

| Did anyone else catch the little Quantum Leap marathon on Sci-Fi this morning? From 8am to 4pm. They showed a few good episodes. I hated that they left off on the episode where Sam became that little boy.  I don't remember that episode and would have loved to see it again. | Hey everyone! I'm glad to see that there is a thread for this. I loved this show, and I think that its finale is one of the best series finales ever, although it was sad, or at least bittersweet. I don't have the first season on DVD yet, although it is on my shopping and wish lists. Good thing for birthday and Christmas presents. Sam and Al are two of the best pals in the history of television. They were like Butch and Sundance, Crichton and D'Argo, Rebo and Zooty.  __________________ The only reality about "reality" TV is that it sucks. Why watch it when there are so many idiots in real life? Want better shows on TV? Then stop watching crap. Farscape made me better. | |||

|  I loved that episode as well. Sam got a little vacation. Too bad with the swiss cheese brain he didn't really remember. Also he got to have some "quality" time with his wife. The way the show ended was sad. However, it was refeshing to see a show that didn't end with the typical happy ending. | Yeah. He leaped into this guy while he was having sex with this girl. Or something like that. Anyways, it turns out that Al said that she had a baby. With a very high IQ like Sam's and they were related. In fact that child in the future turned out to be one of the people on the Quantum Leap project trying to find a way for Sam to return home. It was something like that. I'm kind of fuzzy on the details but I know that he fathered a child when he was leaping. It was during the three episode leaps where he was around a girl named Abigal I think. She was a little girl in the first one and was acussed of killing another little girl. The town thought she was involved with witchcraft or something. The second episode he leaped into that little girls boyfriend when they were having sex. Then the third leap he leaped into a lawyer trying to save her daughter or maybe the same little girl. Anyways it turned out that little girl or her daugter was Sam's daughter from the leap before. Again I am fuzzy on the detail and with Time Travel it's hard to say it in a clear way. __________________ Everything Has It's Time And Everything Dies | |||
