My boyfriend and I were going to watch the new episode, then we saw it was a repeat. Next week then.

Yeah, I was disappointed to discover it was a repeat. Hubby loves the scene where the alien spurts the blue goo, so we watched that far then deleted it.

I loved it. The cult of popularity really is a slippery slope. Really liked the ending. At first I thought they were going to make it be a dream sequence, but was glad to see that they had her turn off the tv instead.

Sorry to hear that. It is a spoof, and some of the humour is right down in the gutter, but it has some good moments too.

I usually give a show more chances than just one episode, but it does happen I don't get through the first one

For me, it depends on the show. If there's an actor I like, or if I find the concept interesting, I'm more likely to give it a second chance. Some shows I don't make it through the first episode.
