I thought the leg bit was over the top, but hubby thought it was hilarious.

Charlize was a good villain.

I saw the episode, and I thought what they did with Charlize was really creative. I didn't expect the repercussions that could possibly have on future episodes! Or the entire arc of it. I really liked it.

I liked that even though Kelly pretty much coerced Alara into searching Pria's quarters, when Ed confronted them about it, Alara took full responsibility for making the decision to do the search.

The bit about looking for a diary, and not being able to find one was funny.

Alara is probably my favourite, but I like Ed too.

I agree.

Loved the opening scene. Alara handled Isaac's request to be her boyfriend and find out about human mating rituals well. They took the gag about Bortus being able to eat anything a bit far, but loved the initial reaction to him gobbling down the wasabi.

Personal holo-emitters to change their appearance was an interesting touch. Of course they'd have to fail at an inopportune moment. When Malloy was stabbed in the leg, his 'not my new leg' line was a nice reference to the previous episode.

Thought the teacher's line that the children would grow up to hate humans was pretty spot on.

I loved the newest episode. It was intriguing how children were involved and that although they are kids, they are also taught to hate, and he chose to save what could potentially destroy the Orville in the future. It was interesting and definitely felt very "Star Trek."
