You bet it will have consequences.
 This epi reminded me a bit of the TNG one where Riker was duplicated because of a transporter malfunction. ALso, I felt that Ed / Capt Mercer was being a jerk when he gave 'his' Kelly only two options: being okay with him dating the younger Kelly or giving it another shot with him (knowing she didn't want that!). That was kind of a d!ck move, imo. The third option would have been a charm: asking for her blessing (after all, he wanted to date herself, kinda). Am I wrong? __________________
