I got to admit I love The Orville and for me this is the new Star Trek Show.
Call me silly but I feel this way. STD has little to nothing Star Trek-y in it except ship designs, insignias and the name. Seth MacFarlane, well never liked any of his shows but I do like him as an entertainer and of course he is a renown Trekkie and has even done special features on Star Trek Blu-rays. I am so grateful we got another Star Trek-like show, this has TNG written all over and the many, many Star Trek alumni that are already a part of this show is proof that this is the secret new Trek show  |
