I see this in Hulu and I added it to my queue but I haven't watched it yet. Is it a comedy? Or a spoof on Star Trek? Or is it a regular serial show like a Star Trek serial would be? Just trying to figure if it's something I should check out and watch.

It's something like in between and all of the above!

yes, it's hard to describe. Overall, it's spoof and homage to Trek and I'd recommend checking it out. Be warned that some of the humour is rather juvenile.

The humor may be juvenile, but the homage to TNG is so 100% spot on, it's perfect!

There's a lot of humour in it, but they also have some serious storylines.

ok cool! Thanks Chris, Rita, and Little Stewie Well that explains why I couldn't peg the show with just the promo videos

I think I will be ok with juvenile humor. I have two young boys and a husband. Juvenile humor is their favorite

I am going to check it out and see if I like it.

Amy - Just so you know, some of the humour probably isn't appropriate for young boys.

A lot of it is innuendo, and it could go over their heads, but I wouldn't have wanted to try to explain it to my son.

depending on the age, I'm not sure they would even pick up on it. It's like the adult humour in animated family movies, most of the time the kids don't even know it's there.
