Here's a continuation of Andromeda discussion thread.

Nothing all too new on the Andromeda front though, how's everyone doing?

I finally got to Harper/Delete, which I watched with a certain amount of forboding, given my reaction to the previous episodes. But this was much, much better. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Perhaps my warm fuzzy feelings for this episode are due to the presence of so many venerable story elements: Niets, Magog, and Harper. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] Loved the humor, with everyone yelling, "NO!" at Harper when they were trying to keep the gravity of his situation from him. Also liked that Mr. Niet figured out that Dylan had something that belonged to him, and got a kick out of seeing Ms. Niet in a bustier. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Gosh. With all the fighting Niet women do, it's a wonder they don't just pop right out of those tight revealing tops. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] But I'm sure their clothes are perfect, just like they are. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

The graphics interface Harper used when working on File D was cool, as was the 3D game Ms. Niet played with Dylan. And Trance's comment about always wanting to be a star had me rolling. [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img]

Duck Tape. it works wonders for thos situations. At least it did in Starwars for Princess Leia.

Thanxs for starting the new thread and yes the title is great. I got to see the eppy and yes I loved how they told him "NO" every time he tired to do somethnig. I loved the Mr.Nei guy and how he figured out that Dylan had something of his. I liked how Dylan was able to trick him into giving him the thing. I loved that 3d game thing and the thing that Harper was using. You know how Tyr is coming back this week, I just hope that the eppy that Global is playing tonight is that one, instead of re-runs.

Actually ... he was cremated, and at least a portion of his ashes were shot into space [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

But maybe his ashes are raining back to earth in anger, between Andromeda and EFC.

anyway, I finally got to see Harper/Delete and for an epi with 'Harper' in the title, he still didn't get much of a part. *pouts*

But the best part was I also got to see 'Soon the Nearing Vortex' and I hate to be spoilerish but...

OMG I loved that eppy and its finally showing us what the season is going to be about. But with us finding out the whole thing behind Trance, is the show going to continue after this season? Are we going to watch it after finding out what Trance is? I don't know that the show is going to continue because we like to watch shows because of the mystey(sp?) behind the show or even the characters. And that's one of the reasons why I love Trance so much. I hope that this little post makes sense.

EnterpriseGirl: I thought about that too. I figure this is S4, they expected to go through S5, so perhaps spilling the beans on Trance's nature/purpose is not premature. Theoretically, the show only has 1 1/2 seasons to go anyway.

It was great to see Tyr again! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] KHC can say more with a look than a lot of actors can with a page of dialog. The Collector was downright creepy, befitting a man who holds such power, and I enjoyed seeing Rhade (sp?) again, although neither myself nor my teenager (who I collared and sat in front of the TV [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] ) recognized him at first. I loved Rhade's assessment of Niets--self-absorbed, selfish, etc. Right on. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] BUT....

I do wish they hadn't kept hammering at the, "Dylan, you make me a better Niet". I didn't mind the sentiment--God knows Dylan could teach them a thing or three--but the writers kept going back at it, not once, not twice, but three or four times. Dylan's suck-up joke was funny the first time, all too true the second time. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

The graphic for the Route of Ages was very pretty, but I still can't figure out how Dylan knew what it was before anyone told him. Perhaps he had prior knowledge?

Bets on whether Becka really wants to ally with Tyr? [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I'm looking forward to next week's episode. This is the way I used to feel about Andromeda, and I missed it. It's good to have that feeling back. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

But no, Sarah, I don't think knowing what Trance really is will effect the show. Just because we know doens't mean we can't stop exploring what that means.
