The Handmaid's Tale is driving me crazy right now because the whole premise of the handmaids is to make children and they are doing things that are extremely counterproductive to their goals, there are definitely better ways to increase the population

It was actually my son (16) who pointed it out to me. But I'm still enjoying it too, after all it's the concept that counts in show about a dystopia.

Yeah the Handmaid's Tale really gets me going though because I used to work in a infertility clinic, they are doing so much that probably decreases the pregnancy rate even more

but yeah it is just a tool used as part of the storytelling. I just yell at the tv a lot during that show

I had issues with Orphan Black and Helena's embryos/ pregnancy too but I still loved the show
