I love vacations, but coming home, unpacking, doing the laundry, getting the fridge restocked ... not so much.

I had the police at my door at 10pm last night looking for somebody that I've never heard of. It was kind of weird. Once they established that I wasn't related to this person, didn't know him, and had lived here several years so it was unlikely it was a recent address for the person, they thanked me for my time and said good night.

A very wrong address because the numbering on our street is weird, and I'm not sure that there's anything else close to our house number.

It was really odd.

Gearing up for a long weekend here. Friday night there's a car show for classic cars on the main street, then Saturday night there will be fireworks for Canada Day.
