It is annoying to have it break down.

The pain started to kick in an hour and a half ago. I took some painkillers.

Sam - glad you got it sorted. The last time I had internet issues they suggested that it might be my modem because it's several years old. It wasn't but it's something I'll keep an eye on.

Housework day for me.

I'm doing better. I had a bit of pain last night when my husband hugged me and forgot which shoulder he shouldn't touch! Ouch!

We painted two coats of paint on my daughter's wall yesterday, and today, cleaned and moved everything, and she went through the last few things, and now has an uncluttered room. It looks lovely.

My parents are staying this weekend.

Dull day here. I'll be taking mom out shopping this afternoon.

It was busy Chris. I find having my parents staying a bit stressful, but I'm okay.
My shoulder is still sore. I changed the dressing today, so got to see the stitches properly for the first time, and they seem very neat. One more week and I can remove the dressing altogether.

I'm sure our modem is older than that and we've got superfast broadband. I'd be surprised if anyone suggested it was too old, for sure!

For me too. My father-in-law especially. He's very free with his "you should"s, and still carries on about how unfortunate it is that we didn't buy a house on the lake shore. Nevermind that we couldn't afford it at the time.

I can't feel that way about my parents because my dad died years ago and ever since then I have 0 relations with my mother, only kept it up for my father's sake before.
