So if this is based on the books that X-Files is based on, does this mean this is X-Files pt 2?

I've been missing the series.....it's on Friday
Are they keeping true to the original? __________________

I just saw the 2nd episode and it was even better than the pilot. This series is very creepy, dark and X-Files-like. The writing flows well and the awkward casting surpisingly works. I'm not crazy about the words on screen during his narrative close...but meh, that's a minor thing.

Hello...
I missed the first half of the pilot and just saw my tape of the second episode and I must admit, this is a good show. It balances its elements surprisingly well. Stuart Townsend is really, really good which surprised me lots. He's doing good work here, and so is Gabrielle Union (but I've always liked her). The second episode was quite entertaining and very well done. It reminds me of "Forever Knight" in a way. Even the way Townsend speaks reminds me of Nick. And that's a good thing. __________________

I love this show. I caught the pilot by accident, I had never seen the show advertised and was flipping channels

When I was watching the last episode I noticed the name Frank Spotnitz in the writing credits. Sounded familiar so I looked it up on IMDB. Yup, he is the guy who worked on X-Files for 8 seasons. No wonder this series shares the same tone. Should be good.

The second episode was much better than the first. In fact I really liked it. It did have an X-Files feel to it. Just with a twist.
Stuart and Gabrielle do very well in their scenes together. I like their little sidekick. What's his name, Jayne? Here's hoping ABC gives this show a chance considering it has some stiff competition. __________________

I need to buy this show on DVD! I loved it and was so mad when it was cancelled. The cast was starting to gel and the chemistry was getting to a really nice point.
