Poor Simon. No love. I thought he was okay.

I mentioned this on the book thread, when I was in the fourth grade, my class named our pet gerbil after Justin from Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.

I'm borrowing this synopsis from barnesandnoble.com because a friend has my copy of the book and I don't want to rely on my memory:
Quote:
Mrs. Frisby, a widowed mouse with four small children, is faced with a terrible problem. She must move her family to their summer quarters immediately, or face almost certain death. But her youngest son, Timothy, lies ill with pneumonia and must not be moved. Fortunately, she encounters the rats of NIMH, an extraordinary breed of highly intelligent creatures, who come up with a brilliant solution to her dilemma. And Mrs. Frisby in turn renders them a great service.
There was also a film made based on the book called The Secret of NIMH. It's fine, just not as good as the book, IMO.

My second son (third child) is called Luke after Skywalker and Jean-Luc Picard. My third son is called Logan after Wolverine and 'Run'.

And the fact that my husband didn't come up with anything more interesting...to me
