I got the first two episodes of the series, and then eps 11-22 of the first season. Watched about six of the episodes so far, having lots of fun

As for my avie, I actually just changed it, but the old one was of Majandra Delfino and Shiri Appleby. Which is amusing since I haven't been into Roswell in ages. I tend to ship best friend pairings though

keen, I have to break out the avi's that I have download for the first and second seasons. I guess that means I have to get my file server back up and working.

Ah, they looked familiar, but I never watched roswell, just couldn't get into it. Guess if I saw it from the beginning, it'd be pretty good.

One thing I do find annoying though is I have this tendency to get into shows that are just recently canceled Xena was one, I caught onto it the summer after the finale aired. And now Mutant X is another

As for Roswell, the first season and a half were great. After that I don't think you missed out on much

See, I'm just the opposite. I get in on ground level with a lot of shows that don't last more than 13 episodes....sigh.

I'm not sure which is worse

The sci-fi genre seems to have that problem though, for some reason it's a very difficult genre to keep a show going continuously for very long

I know that they're expensive, and the crowds are so finicky. It's hard to please the entire sci fi audience.

You have a great point with the expense. I can't imagine the budgets some of the higher profile sci-fi shows have.

Plus I think there still is a certain stigma attached to the genre as a whole, it being for geeks and techno whizzes

Which is sad, you know. If you broke things like ds9 down, really it was just a drama in space. If you look at the real stories, they're so much simpler than what they'e being made out to be.

Yep, it basically was just a matter of settings. Why it seemed so outlandish to some is beyond me.
