Fever was our last episode?
Okay, so I don't have to ask. I think that's a really great episode. If you couldn't see it before, you definitely could see in this episode how much Beth already cares for Mick, when she breaks down crying at home after she thought he's dead. And the scene where she made him drink her blood was really intense. I love Mick's voice overs there. "What would you do when the one thing you need the most, is the one thing you can't live with" (not completely sure about the second part). __________________

Arrested Development was good. It wasn't the best episode, but I think it's pretty good at least. At least Josef was back in this one.
The teenage vamp/prostitute storyline was interesting and I felt bad for the guy and his desire for a girlfriend. Even though it was sad, it was quite funny Though I did think his makeup was way overdone. A lot more Mick/Beth romance this episode and their first kiss I thought it was odd how Beth kept saying that it was weird that they kept bumping into each other, but I didn't actually find that weird? They were still cute however. I felt bad for Josh that Beth bailed in the middle of their anniversary dinner. He handled it better than I probably would have. Still, I think that Beth's friend at the dinner would make a better match for him. My favorite part of the episode is when Mick, Josef, tech guy, and Beth were calling clients from the dead prostitute's black book. Beth's "sexy voice" was impressive and hilarious, and it was funny the expressions that the guys had. ETA: I do love Mick's voiceover too. That is one of my fave quotes from Fever __________________

It was a good episode.
Though that teenage vampire was a total psycho. And vampires can have acne? And if they can, cosmetics can help them? I liked the fight and the way he got killed in the end. It was great to see Josef again, and I liked the scene when Beth met him and the other vampire. The whole scene that followed with Beth calling all those guys was hilarious. When that one started insulting her. And of course the kiss was cute. And I have to agree with you, Beth's friend would be a better match for Josh. Which voiceover did you love? __________________

That scene was my favorite of the episode, and one of my faves for the series. It was hilarous and a great way for Beth to meet Josef. In the previous post you had mentioned Mick's voiceovers: Quote:

It's clear that the acne falls under the heading of vampires looking just like how they looked when they were turned. He had acne when he was turned, so it stuck with him. The actress who played the escort will be in the Twilight movies, playing a member of some coven.

Ok I'm very late with this..sorry
BC is my favorite episode of the series, or at least in the top 3. I love that we see Joseph more in this one. I felt bad for him when Lola died though, the expression on his face said he cared about her despite the fact that she stole his money. The black crystal drug thing was amazing, and I love seeing that side of Beth when she took it. That shower scene where Mick just holds her and she begs him to turn her, is one of my favorite moments of them. It's romantic and sexy. I liked how this episode really started showing Beth thinking about the vampire thing, and what it was like to be one. We never did get to see the black crystal that she hid in her drawer again (at least I don't remember seeing it again). This episode also made me realize how young the vamps are in Moonlight. Joseph commented that Lola was the oldest vampire he knew of and that she was at least 500 years old. That seems like a long time, but compared to other vampire mythologies, that's relatively young. Were there vampires before 500 years ago? One of the many reasons why I'm sad that Moonlight didn't continue is that we never got to explore that. __________________

Well, I'm not sure if we took two weeks for something now, but lets just say it's 'The Ringer' today.
It is a great episode. Josh is getting more and more jealous and acting unfair. You're right, that Joseph really must have felt something for Lola, despite her stealing from him and him being angry about that. I always find that scene when Beth looks into the mirror after taking that drop of the Black Cristal kinda weird, the way how her 'reflection' looks like. I don't know. But she took only one drop and it lead to her acting the way she did. What would have happened if she'd taken the whole thing? The shower scene is amazing. Sure she was on a trip with that Black Cristal in her system, but the idea of getting turned must have been in her head before. That says a lot. And no, we didn't see that little flask again. It's probably still in that drawer. Well, she was just the oldest one Joseph knew. Who knew if there are older ones around. Or maybe they'd just all been killed by now. Maybe by that great family of Coraline's. I know, I hate that they canceled it as well, there was still so much potential. And the ratings were good. Just because of the network. __________________

The Ringer
So this was an okay episode. We had heard a lot about Coraline, but I just didn't really like Morgan. I think I liked her in later episodes and the flashbacks more. Plus I'm not very fond of jealous Beth. I loved that Josef got to be more of a side kick in this episode, and I love how he mixes playboy with being a badass vampire. His comment about wanting to hire someone for the investigating instead of doing it himself was hilarious. The fire story didn't do much for me, and I found myself not really caring much about it. So really the highlight of the episode for me were the flashbacks and the Mick/Josef male bonding. Quote:
We didn't take two weeks, we've just been discussing later in the week I think. I agree that Beth's mirror scene was odd, and I'm not sure if I really like that part. I know it's supposed to make you feel like a vampire, but how many vampires interact with a different version of themselves in the mirror? I agree that it would be interesting to see what happened if she took more of that. __________________

I think it would be easier if we just said we take one week as a whole, from Monday to Sunday, to discuss an episode.
Wouldn't get as confusing either I think. What do you say? Though it seems we're the only two at the moment anyway... The Ringer isn't one of my favourite episodes either. The whole episode is just kinda weird, I don't know. Morgan isn't a likable character at all, the way she's acting and all. Mick taking Josef to investigate is pretty cool, though. And Mick and Beth looking through the apartment and then finding the important stuff in the tampon box. Those were practically the best things I think. __________________

The whole thing of vamps being able to read objects comes into Kindred the Embraced, a vampire tv show back in the mid 90s.

Somehow I missed the tampon box thing, I didn't think that was for this episode. I'll have to go back and watch it again now since it's one of my favorite moments Quote:
I loved Kindred: the Embraced! Does that have a thread here? __________________
