No they show iranian movies, which actually gather a lot of fans. not a lot of people cross borders to watch movies, the cinema in Dubai is worth 20 of our money when we can buy the actual DVD of the movie (not the original one though) for 1.5 of that currency so Im fine with not going to the cinema really.

That is actually quite hilarious, the quality of our TVs sound (which is 5 years old) is better than most if not all the cinemas in here, thats why people prefer watching movies at home, and besides iranian movies dont have special FX so theres not much to hear or see except a cliched love story!

I honestly couldnt agree more. I saw a movie with special FX about 4 years ago, and it was just awful, looked like a Bruce Lee movie so I suppose its best they stick to what they do know and leave the FX to the pros.

Yeah they do, they have the clearly visible wire that pulls people up in the air and the whole spinning in the air a thousand times thingy too. very advanced stuff.

He didnt? I havent actually seen his movies but the bits and pieces Ive seen had him high in the sky.

Anyways I aksed about Aragorn and he is not in the Hobbit.

You've re-read the hobbit to be sure? They may claim artistic license.

Na, Wire Fu was something that came about later. Most of Bruce's stuff was that good. You should see Ong Bak, it's a Thai film with Tony Jaa in it. He doesn't believe in using wires and does some amazing work.

Yeah I just re-read that very long and somewhat boring book No I asked an expert and theyre very sure hes not in it and that Sauroman was only mentioned by Gandalf.

Ong Bak, Ive heard a lot about that. Its fairly new isnt it?

I would say that it's 3-4 years old. They have a Sequel coming out soon.
