Not very much...the one was the Emilio Estevez movie with the cars that came alive.....but neither of the movies were Peter Jackson and Del Toro.

Oh, no spoilers (though can we really spoil a book that's been written for over 100 years?

). More or less, it's a forum where Peter and Guillermo will make themselves available to answer questions about the movie. Peter did it a lot when he was doing the Trilogy. There are dates and links and all that kind of stuff in it.

For those interested, The Hobbit, Part 1 has entered Pre-Production. 2010 for pt 1 and 2011 for pt 2.

Confirmed back are Viggo (Aragorn), Ian(Gandalf) and Andy(Gollum). They're working on getting Hugo (Elrond), Cate (Galadriel) and Christpher Lee (Sauruman) back as well, providing their schedules will allow.

That's fantastic! The main 2 are confirmed, which is great. Plus having Viggo back as Aragorn is a great addition as well. I'm just curious about who will play younger Bilbo. Hopefully whoever they choose will do the character justice.

Well, the rumor as of yesterday, is that James McAvoy (Wanted) is in consideration for the young Bilbo.

I am so psyched about James McAvoy being in Hobbit, everytime I read that rumour I squee like a fangirl, that would be amazing.

Its been a while since I read the Hobbit but I dont seem to remember Aragorn being in it.

Im not going to see anything, remember, no cinemas showing western movies here, but I will definately buy the DVD as soon as it gets here, cant wait,

I honestly dont remember Strider being in it, cause we didnt know who he was reading LOTR at first. Im not even sure I remember Saruman.

Just because there aren't any publicly shown movie theatres with Western movies doesn't mean that there aren't any secret movie theatres.

Aah, see, yes it does actually yes it does unless we buy the DVD and go over to my aunts house to watch it on their 52 inch TV.

Though with a movie like The Hobbit there is a chance it might be shown on the one cinema across the country that sometimes shows western movies but even then were gonna have to wait a year and watch it censored so Ill still prefer buying it.

Im gonna have to read the book again, all I remember are the 14 and some other guys.
