I'm not surprised. Arthur/Merlin = Lois/Clark. The whole destiny thing. Merlin is a Clark-like character. With powers that he keeps secret. Arthur is a Lois-like character. Loud and with few not too likable characteristics at first look, but with a good heart. And also, always getting himself in trouble, so Merlin has to save him without him noticing, and then serve some lame excuse. Not to mention all the bickering. It's the same dynamic. Quote:

| ^Oh totally. Lois=Arthur, and that's why I love them to death. And Merlin/Arthur will have a happy ending, even if they don't get together romantically. That's one of the reasons that tipped me towards them. Morganna/Arthur and G/A will just end in tears. And me punching the tv cos I don't want to see my Arthur depressed and all angsty! Quote:
