I love rewatches of these trilogies. I used to have LotR play as background noise whne I would be doing stuff on the ocmputer. Love those movies.

Do you watch the extended versions or the theatrical ones? The time difference is enormous! I used to watch them fairly regularly, but I haven't for a while, now...

I only watch the theatrical because I don't have the extended versions on the dvds I bought

I imagine the time difference would be very different to the originals, so much content would have been removed due to time constraints.

I always ended up buying the extended. Love the little added scenes.

And the cast commentary is hilarious too.
