You know I think I'd be a bit miffed if they brought Cara into a triangle with R/K because I can't see Cara being into Richard in a romantic sense, even in the finale she struck me as just needed some nookie from the only other sane person on the planet, not in a loving way, just lust.

I agree. I don't want to see that. It's not like that in the books, at all. She's all about duty. I could see her causing problems or getting in the way, but not in a romantic sense.

If they keep Cara to the book then Im all for her, but if its in a romantic sense... I just dont see it lol CC i dont mind but with all the obstacles in the books they dont need to make us hate the mordsith on the show

Exactly, and Richard gave Mord-Sith freedom. They love him for that, and it shouldn't be tainted by a 'relationship/sexual' thing. I love the show, and want it to do well, but that is scary to me. I love Mord-Sith! BUT that love comes from them realizing who they are, and being proud, caring, strong, and watching their shut down feelings reawaken slowly as their characters redefine themselves. Plus Kahlan is honorary Mord-Sith, and NO way would a Mord-Sith do that to another sister of the Agiel.

The viewers who didn't read the book aren't gettng any of the reasons WHY Mord-Sith are so very important....everyone just assumes that their there for eye-candy, while partially true for Darken Rahl, they are there for a specific purpose and are very much needed.

If you think about it, Richard fulfilled a need in Cara that he performed for Denna in the book. Since Denna didn't die, and won't be around Richard again (Prolly), that role (one where he is seen as an equal to the Mord-Sith) needed to be enacted with someone else. Denna fell in love with him in the book because she couldn't break him. Cara is seeming to be the same way. She realizes that he's not breakable...which makes her want him even more.

So did anyone actually believe that Rahl was Richard and Jensen's brother? The book series says different and I honestly thought he was just using that line to cement a bond with Jensen. I see alot of people have taken it for the truth though. I can't say I believed it.

As far as them being siblings I dont know if I dig that, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt. Love me some LOTS.

Cryo I don't have a problem with you thinkin they are eyecandy, because you KNOW you love them for their deeper beauty.....or something.

The reason I fell in love with Cara was because she was fiercely loyal to Richard after he freed the Mord-Sith. They never showed Denna dying and if Cara is to fill in that place in Richard then I fear what the show might do.

I rather Cara love Richard for what he does for the mordsith, which is free them from their chains that they had for Darken Rahl.

Drcy, I'll choose the "or something" option.

And yes, if it follows suit to last year, they'll finish the entire season and deliver it. They feel it's better to offer the complete package, that attempt to film over partials. Especially with filming happening in New Zealand.

I started watching LotS the other day and am now more than halfway through and i'm really loving this show.
