I started reading the books the other day. I'm on book 1, about 300 and some pages in. I can't believe how very little of it (so far) was on the show.

I'm actually glad that they've managed to do the show in a different direction. It's like a whole different story but still good.

Oh man... another Mord'Sith I love: Rikka. Towards the end of Naked Empire:
Spoiler:
Zed and Adie are captured by the Imperial Order and forced to identify objects from the Wizards Keep. Chase and Rachel go to rescue them, Captain Zimmer and his men go to rescue them and Rikka go to rescue them. Each one didn't know that the other has gone to rescue them so they all meet up at once. The whole scene was hilarious and of course Rikka was one of the main ones who had me laughing.

smart@ss, dno't worry, I'm only 200 pages ahead of you, and there's a lot of the first half of hte season in those 200 pages.

More Mord'sith are always good.

I read about that much yesterday, so I noticed more was from the show Wish we would've seen the Mud People...and everything that happened while there.

How many books does season 1 cover?

Well right now I'm on chainfire and it seems like they took a few ideas from that book.

For those who read spoilers, SpoilerTV posted a side with Cara and another Mord'Sith if you're interested in reading it.

I totally love the Mud People dialog from the book, I just hope they use that storyline for future episodes. I mean they do play a more dominate part in the 2nd book, I think. If I remember correctly

Jen, I can't believe you're already on Chainfire! I just got Soul of the Fire and Faith of the Fallen in the mail yesterday, so I'm about 100 pages into number five.

I know! It's so addicting though, I'll finish one book and since I have the next one at the ready I'll get anxious and start the next one.

I know what you mean! I was so ready to start SotF as soon as I finished TotW, but I had to wait until my sister sent it to me. At least now I have number six as well, so I can start that as soon as I finish number five.

And I'm trying to not read only Sword of Truth books, haha.

I can't help it! There are so many great used book stores in Maine, and I just keep picking up more! I'm a book addict I think . . .

But SoT 5 and 6 are next on my list, and I'll be sure to tell you what I think of them!

I have to run though. My computer time's almost up! See you!

I'm to Denna on book 1! About 200 pages to go. I'm sick, so all I do is sit here and read.

Hey, I was told by someone (who heard from someone else) that books 3 and 4 are not as good. Is this bad info or fairly accurate?

True. I don't know the person, so I have no idea what they were expecting and why they were disappointed. Guess I'll find out for myself, but I can't really see myself not liking them.

3 & 4 were harsh IMO for Kahlan, I still loved them though. You'll get there soon enough and have your own opinion of them.
