| Elite Fan  |  New thread... and still so much to catch up on from the last one... I'd hoped to get back by yesterday but such is life...Wow... what can I say about the last episode... I totally didn't think that Stanley would shoot Goetz'! I figured Jake would talk him down or something, but that jerk got what he deserved... Psycho. I agree with those of you on the last thread who commented about Stanley's goodbye... It was soooo sad, sweet and tender all at the same time.  From the previews, looks like Beck is gonna become more of an oppositional force... but with the threats against Heather now... It's hard telling WHAT will happen! AlexEvans - I miss the survival aspect too... I don't mind the conspiracy stuff though but wish it had more balance w/ survival-themed aspects. I guess they had to cut a lot of that to move the season's story along. Which also addresses why some much-loved characters aren't getting a lot of screen time... The show is backed into a corner in that they've got to get things moving in a certain direction, and time w/ those characters and smaller story arcs are the things getting ignored/cut. | |||

| This is sad... not surprising, especially with the changes in the show. I think Astra is right that the treatment of the show in the first season is at the root of all the problems. First, losing a lot of the audience through unreliable scheduling and promotions, and then secondly that resulting in the compressed version of Jericho we're getting this year. Anyway... I wonder if Jericho is going to have to deal with Constantino? Or if they can somehow get Newberne to replace him as a condition of an alliance... we don't know if Newberne has any alternative leadership. __________________ The Universal Friendship League?
