Me too. It was originally planned to be a trilogy, wasn't it?

Yes A few years ago she said she was working on the sequel, but I don't know what's happening with it

I loved The Host and have read it several times. It just really spoke to me. I hadn't realized there was talk of a trilogy. I would love to see the story continue!

I watched the movie for the first time this weekend and really liked it. I am starting the book tonight. I have to admit my expectations were low and I was very surprised how well I liked the movie. I think this was a better story than her other series.

I hope she writes more about this fantasy world.

I\m happy it's not a trilogy. I'm a bit sick of trilogies to be honest

Like the book better than Twilight, though it has been ages since I read it. I bet the book is still at my parents house, and I moved out about 5 years ago It's an interesting story and quite original.

Best thing about the movie is the music Antonio Pinto I still listen to that music quite often, even thought I've only seen the movie once or twice. It's so relaxing, quiet and mysterious.

Agree with you there.

I finished the book. I enjoyed it. The movie was pretty true to the book. It doesn't really need a sequel but I suspect the mighty dollar will drive that. I don't really know how successful the movie was...
