Ah right. I was wondering, 'cause it doesn't exactly help with my Disney Survivor we have going on at the moment.

I watched these for Aidan Turner, stayed for Lee Pace.

I don't remember how I got into LOTR. Think it was much later, when they became so popular! Same with Harry Potter.

I remember having FOTR and The Two Towers on VHS but I never saw them all the way through. I think I was too young to really appreciate LOTR at the time and I was more into Harry Potter. But as I love my fantasy films, I thought I'd have to revisit them, 'cause they were THE epic fantasy trilogy and I'd be missing out on something special. And after seeing The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on TV I decided to go back to LOTR and watch the whole trilogy properly. I don't regret it.

VHS? I saw them for the first time on DVD. So I became a fan really late, haha.

Well, technically, I didn't become a proper fan until I bought the DVD boxsets a few months ago. I think my older sister went to see FOTR at the cinema when it came out, and I don't remember when we got the VHS tapes, I'm pretty sure they were my sister's, but when she moved out they ended up in my collection.
