This show which centers around three girls who are turned into Mermaids which aired in Australia. It aired for Three seasons and starred Claire Holt, Phoebe Tonkin, Cariba Heine, and Indiana Evans.

I enjoyed it.

I guess either not many liked it as much as we did or this thread needs to be shown more. Its shame it had to end. Looking forward to this spinoff that I have read so much about.

I have read about the spin off and it surrounds Make Island with a new cast of characters. My guess is that it takes place either far into the future or in the past but not present day or fans would expect to see Cleo, Rikki, Emma, or Bella on the show. I will watch it and hope its good.

As for the show itself, I think they should have told their parents. I understand their concerns but to have the parents portrayed as clueless idiots who could not figure it out was bad.

Kim proved that she could never be trusted with the truth but I think that Eliot could have been trusted.

I :love: this show so much! I'm glad that TeenNick plays it over here in the US, although I wish they'd show the rest of S3.

Anyway, my favorites are Rikki and Bella, but I like Cleo and Emma too. And my favorite episode is the one when they fake being sick so they don't have to go out in the rain and the doctor thinks they have a very serious disease :lol:

funny that both Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin are main characters on The Originals now.

my little nieces are obsessed with this series. they found it on netflix one day by accident and started watching and ended up watching the whole series. and then got the whole family hooked on it. it really is a cute series.

it should be on Netflix. My daughter also watched the whole thing a few times on repeat :lol:

:nod: I found it on both Netflix and Hulu+. Watched 2 episodes. It's cute, but too young for me. :)
