Which Great Fantasy Series Would You Like to See Envisioned?

Vote Now for the Dabel Brothers to Envision Great Fantasy!

Graphic Novel Publishers Dabel Brothers, Producers of such fine works as the Anita Blake Series, Wyrms, The Hedge Knight and the upcoming Dresden Files, are looking to see what the fans of Fantasy would like to see for a new series of prints, based on three classic fantasy series. This is your chance to make a difference, and watch the Dabel Brothers bring some of greatest fantasy series characters to life.

The three series in question are:

Stephen Erikson's Malazan Series
George R. R. Martin's (and others) Wild Cards Series
Roger Zelazny's Nine Princes in Amber Series

I've included rough sketches from each of the series below to help aid you in your choice.

From Wild Cards, Croyd Master:

From Malazan: Book of the Fallen, Whiskeyjack and Topper:

This last one from Malazan (ONOS T'OOLAN) is still a Work in Progress and is far from the final copy, still looking good though.

From Nine Princes in Amber, Prince Benedict:

Please remember to choose quickly, no telling how fast those Dabel's will get this going. This is your chance, and believe me, the Dabel Brothers know how to follow through. Their artwork for Anita Blake has been fantastic, and the work for Raymond Feist's Magician: Apprentice books has been just short of breathtaking. You can head over to the Dresden Thread to see examples of the work in progress on that great series.

You can also check out their site at Dabel Brothers Publishing - News for a better listing of all of their adaptive works, including Dean Koontz's Frankenstein.

Excercize your rights and vote, be heard, the Sci/Fi board and Dabel Brothers want to know.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, we will do our best to get you answers as quickly as possible

I've only read one of the three series listed so my choice was obvious.

I've run into a few other people that only know the Amber series as well. I find that somewhat strange.

Re:

Thanks for putting up the poll I really appreciate it!

For Nine Princes in Amber, I just received the sketches of Brand, Gerard, Finndo, and King Oberon from the artist, and they are fantastic! Now I have to go over them in detail with Mr. Zelazny until they are approved

For Malazan, we are also working on the sketches of Hairlock/puppet-form and Anomander Rake in his draconian form

For Wild Cards, the pages are coming in every day, some really amazing artwork

Re:

If you enjoy George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, you'll really enjoy Malazan. As for Amber, it is the only other fantasy that can honestly rival The Lord of the Rings.
