Looking for a new series to watch
Hey everyone, I just got done watching all of X-files and it's time for a new series. I really would like to watch one that has a mystery element to it like Lost, but any good sci/fi will do. I would really appreciate any suggestions you can give me.
I have already watched: - Stargate(SG1, Atlantis, and SGU) - Battlestar Gallactica - Terra Nova - X-Files - Lost - Up to date on Sanctuary There are a few other short series, but these have been my favorites. |

Welcome to chuch4
Sounds like you have quite a few shows on your list already. Another show you might like is Farscape. Did you ever give that a try? __________________

Welcome chuch4 Glad to have you with us. I suppose another suggestion would be Babylon 5. Of the new shows, Awake seems quite similar to Lost as well.

How many of you think Obi-Wan Aankin Duel was the best lightsaber battle with an emotional perspective?
Obi-Wan vs. Anakin Duel: Remembering 4 moments before Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader! – Entertain-O-rama
The duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan is by far the best battle in the entire Star Wars series. Greatest moment of the saga, Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader. The original trilogy finds its roots in this movie. The best and the most emotionally painful part of this battle was the love that Obi-Wan had for Anakin & how wrong was the decision of Anakin to choose the dark side. |

The battle between Vader and Obi-wan was epic, and certainly a turning point in the movie.
You might find more detailed discussion over at the Star Wars board. __________________

Looking for Hunger Games Fans
Hi everyone,
My name is Kathryn Sandoe, a doctoral student in the Adult Education program at Penn State (Pennsylvania, USA), and I am also a fan of The Hunger Games series. I am conducting research on The Hunger Games fandom. Specifically, the purpose of my study is to understand how and what women fans learn about advocating for social justice causes from the series and from other fans. I’m looking for potential fans to interview about their experience. The type of fan I’m looking to interview should be: 1) around age 25 or older, 2) identify as a woman, 3) identify as fan of The Hunger Games series, and 4) have advocated for a cause relevant to them, either online or in a physical space. If you are interested in participating, and meet the four criteria listed above, I would love to interview you about your experience. Please email me at kjs385@psu.edu or kathrynsandoe@hotmail.com. Thank you for your time and consideration. And may the odds be ever in your favor! Sincerely, Kathryn |

Question about the Damned
If someone was damned, that is, you know, sent to hell, what reason might the devil allow them to walk among the living again?
I'm attempting to write a novel, and a character of mine is going to be damned to hell, of course, I want him to come back every so often to wreak havoc on the living. Can anyone give me any book or movie references to which people have made "deals with the devil?" |

We Are Still Here and Lucy
What comic book was shown at the beginning of We Are Still Here? I would've paused it, but my remote sucks, and I'm waiting for a new one. Was it one that had one of these three genres: sci-fi, fantasy, or horror? If so, is it possible to get a good readers copy for less than five dollars?
The synopsis for Lucy said that a synthetic drug gives a woman extraordinary powers. If she used those powers for evil, then according to Ricky, she's got some 'splainin' to do. : lol: : lol: : lol: God bless, Jason Scott Irelan |

I've got no idea either.
Jason - it would be better if you posted in the Guide/Introduction thread rather than always starting new threads. __________________
